I enjoy the occasional whitey joke, everyone enjoys jokes about their own race. If you don't, check into some therapy. There's a difference between that and racism. Here's an example:

If there's a big current event, odds are we've heard about it. This means you don't need to dump tons of shit into the channel. This is the same for shit you find on the web. If you want to, post a SMALL SAMPLING (2-3 lines) and the URL to the channel. |

A brief conversation for practice or whatnot is ok. Any more then that, take it to a private message. Absolutely
NO multiple bit character languages. i.e. Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese (in thier written forms. Renditions of these languages in english follow the same rules as others)

We're kinda like the military - Don't ask, don't tell. You don't need to go flaunting the fact you're gay/whatever, especially in attempts to make you more popular. Likewise, don't go bashing alternative sexualities in attempts to become more popular |

People who have been in the channel a long time will naturally get more leeway then other people. This isn't a right, and it shouldn't be expected. This is especially true in situtations where regulars are picking fights with people for absolutely no reason. Also known as the pupkick clause. |

You're going to offer in the channel/on a site? GREAT! We want you to offer whenever and whatever you want! That goes for offering new stuff too. There's only a couple things we ask of you - If you're going to offer, please for the convienance of the people just here to chat, put DCC in the nickname of the client offering. For your Public lists of packs, please set your timer to 15 minutes +, but feel free to put a pack notice timer at 5 minutes if you'd like. Also, there are to be NO public triggers (!whatever) |

We do have one rule about offering stuff that's absolute: No trading. We belive in freely giving people what they need. There are two kinds of trading, one we don't mind:

| Wingates, Proxies and Firewalls |
#OldWarez ops endorse the use of a local PC or LAN Firewall to protect from new and old forms of internet nukes. The use of proxies to hide from them is not really liked. The reasoning behind this is misconfigured (or public) proxies facilitate people avoiding bans, often to advertise We don't like that. So use wingate/etc at your own discretion, but be advised that if a situtation like this arises you may be banned or shitlisted. |
